Senator MacKinnon, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 2995. Senator Gardner objected, then withdrew her objection. There being no further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 142(FIN) "An Act making appropriations, including capital appropriations, supplemental appropriations, reappropriations, and other appropriations; amending appropriations; making appropriations to capitalize funds; and providing for an effective date" was adopted. Senators Stedman, MacKinnon offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 10, line 12: Delete "3,031,100" in both places Insert "3,031,105" in both places Adjust fund sources and totals accordingly. Senator Stedman moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Senator Olson offered Amendment No. 2 : Page 37, following line 15: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 26. HOUSE DISTRICT 39. Senator MacKinnon moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the following amendment to Amendment No. 3: Page 1, line 6, following "patrols": Insert: "for gas cards, decals, radios, and safety equipment" Senator Wielechowski objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 3 was amended. Senator MacKinnon withdrew her objection to Amendment No. 3, and so Amendment No. 3 as amended was adopted. Senators Wilson, MacKinnon offered Amendment No. 4 : Page 36, following line 19: Insert a new subsection to read: "(j) The sum of $4,500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities for the Knik Arm Crossing project."
